hey! is this a special watercolor sketchbook you're using? have you tried pastels before?
It's the Moleskine watercolor sketchbook (pink), which is pretty expensive, but the paper quality is good. I think it's worth the money. Pastels? Yeah it's fun using them for portraits and landscapes, but it smears and looses it's brightness when fixed.
